How do I make my name appear in internet search engines?

I ‘m trying to market myself to recruiters and have my name appear more frequently in search engines. My name is fairly common, however is does not appear when I enter my name.

   What have you published on the internet? Make your middle initial more prominent. Pay Yahoo or Google to put you at the top of the list (at least $400.00).

   Make a blog with your name and links with your name to other pages. the more links you have the higher it will appear.
