In Google Adwords, I start off with a list of exact match keyword phrases, then I take the good peforming keywords and add broad and phrase match of those keywords. Should I do the exact same thing in Yahoo Search Marketing and MSN Adcenter? Or should I just use broad match for all the keywords since there’s going to be less search volume on Yahoo and MSN? Is there any other significant difference between the PPC services that I should note of?

Rosie asked: I have several websites and programs that would like to promote but have no idea how to go about it. I have paid for a year to be placed in search engines($200) and the other one is about the same but in monthly payments. As for as I know, this is done once a month for one day. I am probably placed way down in the search engines. Supposedly, the monthly submissions will put it higher on the list. I’ve only been into this for a couple of weeks with one and 3 weeks with the other. I’m making payments monthly for a merchants account and have submitted to lots of fre ad sites. I’ve paid for one. I’m on a limited budget. Both programs require a monthly payment also. I need a quick way to get the word out. I really had hoped to make a profit or at least enough to pay for what I’m putting into it. I’m getting worried.

John, GIA Diamond Professional asked: When I started my business almost 7 years ago I was all over the Internet and my hits were really high. But over the years the market place for jewelry websites has exploded and now I find myself challenged to getting listed anywhere on google and the pay-for-click business is out of control. My costs have skyrocketed, but my hits have gone way done.

What are some other ways to generate quality traffic and increase google page ranking. I’ve been doing this for a long time, so I know the obvious SEO answers… I need real creativity.
